Hello Eagles! I’m Sidney, and I am devoted to continuing my service to you on the Treasury Board! I’m known for my diligence and dedication in everything I do, driven by my desire to make a meaningful and positive impact on campus. I am passionate about helping others and advocating for underrepresented voices. During my time on the board, I helped countless students from various backgrounds and class standings attend many conferences and competitions through the Professional Development Fund, which I solely managed. Additionally, as the Tier 6 Representative, I worked closely with many RSOs to ensure they received the funding they deserved and efficiently addressed their concerns. I remain committed to increasing transparency and equity in all our financial processes, ensuring the fair and responsible distribution of your SGA funds. My goal is to foster an environment where every RSO and every student has the resources they need to thrive!

Matthew Mathias

Major: Aerospace Engineering
Hometown: Lancaster
Class: Junior

Eagles, I’m Matthew Mathias, and I’m running for the SGA Treasury Board. This is my fourth semester at ERAU, and all four semesters I’ve held Treasury roles for RSOs. Through these experiences, I’ve developed strong organizational skills, but my greatest strength is communication—I genuinely enjoy listening to all sides before sharing my thoughts. From attending past Treasury Board meetings, I noticed a need for new voices and more proactive action. I’m very sociable and love connecting with other RSOs, which fuels my passion for growing the ERAU RSO community, supporting student organizations, and making funding more accessible and efficient. If elected, I’ll bring both financial expertise and a collaborative approach to help every RSO succeed..

I am a motivated student who is ready to get involved and make a positive contribution to our school community. Even though I may be new to student government, I am eager to learn. I am running for a position on the Treasury Board because I care about how student funds are spent. I believe all student groups deserve a voice and an equal opportunity. I am committed to representing all student groups with honesty and hard work.
