Having lived in Dubai and moved numerous times, I understand what it feels like to be the new student in an unfamiliar environment. Each transition meant adapting quickly, learning new systems, and finding a sense of belonging while being away from everything I had known. These experiences have shaped me into a resilient and open-minded individual with a strong appreciation for community and connection. In previous roles as a student ambassador and prefect, I supported new students as they adjusted to a new school, helping them feel more comfortable and included. This passion has continued through my involvement in the Orientation Team. I believe it is especially important to support international students, as their experience is not just a transition to college, but to building a life in a new country. Creating a welcoming and supportive environment is something I deeply value and will continue as ERAU's International Student Senator.
