If you enjoy helping others succeed, strengthening your own skills, and being part of a supportive campus community, consider joining the Academic Advancement Center as a tutor!

Below is everything you need to know about the application process, required documents, and how to get started.

  • How to Apply

    1. Log in to Workday using your ERAU credentials.
    2. Search for "Academic Advancement Center Tutor" in the job postings.
    3. Select the posting for the subject area you wish to tutor.
    4. Complete the online application and upload the required documents.
  • Required Application Documents

    1. Resume - Summarizes your education, experience, and skills.
    2. Unofficial Transcript - Shows your coursework and grades.
    3. Recommendation Letter(s) - From a faculty member familiar with your academic abilities in the subject(s) you want to tutor.
  • How to Prepare Your Documents

    Your resume should highlight:

    • Academic achievements and relevant coursework.
    • Any tutoring, teaching, or mentoring experience.
    • Communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

    How to access your unofficial transcript:

    • Log in to Campus Solutions.
    • Go to the Academic Records section.
    • Select View Unofficial Transcript and download the PDF.
    • Save the file to upload with your Workday application.

    How to Get a Recommendation Letter:

    Ask a faculty member with whom you have taken the course(s), in the subject you want to work with, and who knows your work well to send a recommendation to the Assistant Director for the Academic Advancement Center (Jessica Chamberlin at chambej1@erau.edu).

    • Letters can be formal or informal.
    • Faculty may send letters via email.
    • The letter should briefly explain your knowledge, skills, and suitability for tutoring.
