The Academic Advancement Center (AAC) is your direct connection to academic success. The AAC provides free tutoring across foundational courses in math, physics, engineering, chemistry, and biology. Walk-ins are welcome across all our tutoring labs. In addition, Supplemental Instruction (SI) sessions are offered during evenings in COAS for foundational math, physics, chemistry, and biology courses. SI Leaders provide a collaborative, peer-to-peer study environment to better understand foundational concepts. Please refer to Campus Groups for an updated SI Schedule.
The AAC provides a multifaceted study space to learn. You can use moveable whiteboards for visualization, you can write on the whiteboard tables as you solve problems, bring your own mobile device, and collaboratively learn with peers. Experienced and knowledgeable tutors are available during all operational hours and will assist you on your path to success.
