New Students

  • Fall 2023

    Important Dates

For students starting in the Fall term, ERAU Check-in and Move-in will take place across two days, from August 20-21. New Student Orientation programs will be held August 22-26.  There will be several pre-Orientation programs held during the August 20-21 period.  If you are in a ROTC program or in the Discover Scholars program, please check for emails from those offices for your schedule information.

    Check-in & Move-in
Students must sign up in advance for a move-in time, so please use the link on the Orientation home page to select your day and time. Sign-ups will open on June 2nd. You will have the opportunity to select a date and time for your move-in.

ERAU Check-in/Move-in will offer two options to balance convenience and Florida's rainy summer weather:

    • A drive-through process in the mornings from 8 am - 1 pm. Students and families will be able to stay in their cars as they proceed through getting keys and Orientation materials and then may head directly to the residence halls to unload their belongings.
    • A Student Union option in the afternoons from 2 - 5 pm.  Students and families can park near the Union and go to the Union Event Center to check in and receive their keys and Orientation materials.  After that, you can drive to the residence halls to move in!

    Parking
If you bring a vehicle to campus, you must register your vehicle and purchase a parking decal by visiting the Vehicle Citation and Permit Decal Portal. You will receive your decal in the mail within 7 days. For resident students, please wait to order your decal until you receive your campus mailbox number, so the decal can be mailed to you on campus. Make sure to print your temporary permit at the end of your order. This temporary permit should be placed on your dash and will be good for two weeks.  The portal is expected to open to issue current year permits shortly before Orientation.  Please check back after August 10.

    Orientation Programs
From Tuesday, August 22 – Saturday August 26, there will be a mix of in-person and virtual opportunities to get to know your fellow students, have some fun, and learn about what the university has to offer. Many in-person events will also be livestreamed, using the Zoom platform.

You can access the current schedule below. It will continue to be updated through the summer, so please check back as Orientation approaches!
