Check out who we are!

Cameron Bowles

President

Hello! My name is Cameron Bowles. Currently, I am the President of the Historical European Martial Arts Club on campus. I joined HEMA because I love studying history and learning how to fight as people did in the past. The club has many people, all dedicated to learning and having a good time. Come check us out!

Joshua "Josh" Amones

Treasurer

My name is Josh Amones - Aeronautical Engineering student, Treasurer of the Historical European Martial Arts club, Gaeilgeoir (Irish Gaelic Speaker), and lifelong scholar. I love learning about obscure topics in any field I can get my hands on, whether it be in engineering/physics, history, or culture. This has led me to many odd places, like doing deep dives into quantum mechanics on my weekends, practicing medieval era fighting with swords after school days, and learning Irish Gaelic in my spare time. I love having deep, thoughtful conversations with people, and enjoy listening to others' perspectives.

Richard "Richie" Pepe

Secretary

Cooper Goodnight

Armorer

Hey, I'm Cooper. I'm an AE major in my second year at ERAU. I am currently the Armorer for the ERAU HEMA Club.

Anthony Bulko

Public Relations Officer

Hello there! I'm an AOS major in my second year here at Embry-Riddle. I am currently serving as the Public Relations Officer for the Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) Club. If you are looking for the chance to develop skills that have been passed down for thousands of years, then HEMA is the group for you. Stop by a meeting and join us in mastering the art of the sword.
