At ERAU, the Interfraternity Council (IFC) recruitment process follows a "modified guided process" designed to ensure you get a comprehensive view of all our chapters, not just a select few. Here’s how it works:
Round Robin Rounds: Recruitment kicks off with two mandatory nights called Round Robin Rounds. During these sessions, you'll have the opportunity to interact with every chapter in our community. Each chapter will start with a presentation about their values and activities. Throughout these rounds, each chapter will also provide you with their academic requirements and financial transparency documents, either in print or via QR codes. This format helps you make an informed decision about which chapter might be the best fit for you.
Post-Round Robin Events (Open Chapter Events): After the Round Robin Rounds, you can attend various events hosted by the chapters. These events are free and open to everyone interested in learning more.
Invite Dinners: Before Bid Day, chapters will host "invite dinners" where you can further connect with their members. While attending these dinners is a great opportunity to get to know the chapter better, remember that it does not obligate you to accept a bid, and you’re welcome to attend as many dinners as you’re invited to.
This approach is designed to give you a well-rounded perspective and ensure you find the chapter that best aligns with your interests and values.
