Project Draco

Draco will provide the capability for ERPL to consistently and safely test-fire our liquid bipropellant rocket engines locally. Draco is a propellant feed system that is future-proofed to test-fire much larger engines than what ERPL has currently developed.  This system is capable one ambient propellant (like ethanol) and one cryogenic propellant (like liquid oxygen). It is mounted on a mobile platform and will be taken to Cecil Spaceport, in Jacksonville, Florida for test-fires. This project is a 2022 College of Engineering Philanthropy Council Awardee and is a 2023 Blue Origin sponsored-project.
