A little about me is I am getting my bachelors in Space Operations and I am minoring in Physics and Systems Engineering. I've recently gotten into scuba diving and I have loved every moment so far! I'm also so excited to share my love for space and space exploration with everyone and hope to see you all this semester!
Abby Threatt
Public Relations
Hi everyone! My name is Abby Threatt and I am from a town just outside of Charleston, South Carolina. I am a freshman studying Human Factors with minors in Space Operations and Communications. After college I want to work on designing crew capsules and spacesuits for Lunar and Mars missions. One of my biggest passions is communicating space and stem with others, and I would love to be a launch broadcaster one day.
SSPOC is a multidisciplinary club focusing on the technical and policy aspects of space. From aerospace conferences on Earth to our projects in space, we offer members a chance to develop their technical and professional skills through hands on experience and networking opportunities.

Active members have the opportunity to accompany us to aerospace conferences that we attend as well as participate in socials and workshops where we instruct technical and nontechnical skills helpful in the space industry.
