About Us

We're not just any SCUBA Diving club – we are dedicated to the education, protection, and preservation of the awe-inspiring oceanic wildlife found within our own Florida ecosystems. From natural reefs and springs, to artificial wrecks, we dive to get closer to these ecosystems, and to form a better understanding of their importance to our lives.

In addition to diving, we also serve the ocean above the surface, through beach cleanups, educational opportunities, and volunteer projects. So even if you aren't SCUBA certified, you can still make a positive impact on our fragile, yet magnificent oceans (although we do offer SCUBA certification classes).

SHARK's 2019 directive is to mitigate ocean pollution in Volusia County as well as the Florida coastline, and addressing invasive species. In addition, we volunteer with other organizations to better accomplish their and our goals together.
