Our Faculty Advisor, Dr. Christopher Herbster is an Associate Professor of Meteorology at Embry-Riddle. You will find him in the classroom and on the water on his very own boat, Sea-Sea Rider which he regularly races up and down the Florida Atlantic Coast!

Secretary, from Wilmington, North Carolina, enjoys sailing all boats, especially Hobie Cats and Lasers. He sails out of Carolina Yacht Club (Which he thinks is the best SAISA venue) and loves the waters of Daytona Beach.
CO-ED Team Captain, He grew up sailing during his youth summers on Lake Walloon, Michigan on a Mayflower. He loves competing in regattas collegiate and non. He currently is pursuing a 49er campaign for the summer. He is also certified best foiling laser sailor in Florida.
Women's Team Captain, Another North Carolina resident, Rylie enjoys competing in local regattas. She brings a new insight on coaching the team as she sailed during her high school years in Lake Normal, North Carolina. While not sailing, she enjoys doing Physics MEs and having less than ideal situational awareness

Education Director, our education exec, Alex, is our team liaison between the competitive team and new sailors. As we as new sailors from the school are attracted to the sport - he is the go to. He also servers as our photographer at many events: so if you were drawn here by a cool pic, he probably took it!
Undergraduate Advisor, an Annapolis native, Andrew has always been on the water sailing competitively.He started his racing in a Laser and continued by sailing larger and larger boats - even sailing on Maxi 86ft yacht! While away from dinghys, you'll find him distance racing over 400 miles at a time.
