About Us

Psi Chi is the International Honor Society in Psychology. Founded in 1929, Psi Chi aims to encourage excellence in scholarship and to advance the science of psychology.

Psi Chi has 750,000+ lifetime members, including Distinguished Members such asDrs. Albert Bandura, Elizabeth Loftus, B.F. Skinner, and Phillip Zimbardo.

Membership is open to undergraduate and graduate students who meet the minimum qualifications. Those who meet the minimum qualifications will be invited to apply for membership, pay one-time national and chapter dues, and participate in an induction ceremony that occurs during the fall semester.

Members receive international recognition for academic excellence in psychology and are eligible to wear prestigious regalia at all ERAU graduation ceremonies.
