About Us
We are a student-run club that aims to be the one-stop shop for music on the Daytona Beach Campus. Our organization includes a Pep Band, a Jazz Band, and a Concert Band. We play at athletic events, social school events, and other events around the campus and community.
The Pep Band is all about music, our players on the court, and having a good time! We're taking all sorts of music and putting our own spin on it. We're in the stands cheering for the Eagles and making our home turf a tough place for the opposition.
Meanwhile, the Jazz Band brings big band and combo jazz music to the community, playing classic jazz standards and modern jazz hits. We provide a fun setting for both beginning and veteran jazz players to improve their improvising, solo, and ensemble skills. The Jazz Band will be entertaining at various events around campus and the community, such as dinners, galas, and social events, looking for student music that isn't quite as "peppy" as the Pep Band traditionally supplies.
Last, but certainly not least, is the Concert Band. We play music in a more traditional concert band and orchestral format, focusing on a few more difficult pieces for various concert performances throughout the semester. We play at events such as Astronomy Night and the Spring Showcase.
