About Us

Protecting Animal Wellness Society (PAWS) is a student organization for Embry-Riddle dedicated to the welfare of the cats on campus. PAWS strives to monitor the health and safety of the current cat population.

What are Working Cats?

Working cats are a colony of cats recognized by the county and the school to manage the rodent and insect population on campus. Many of these cats have spent their entire lives outdoors on campus and have become experts in their field, thusly they are protected as an official working cat colony.
