(Discontinued Spring 2025 - the Offshore Sailing Team has merged with the Sailing Club to form "ERAU Sailing"
About Us
The Embry-Riddle Offshore Sailing Team was a standalone RSO from Fall 2021 to Fall 2024, with the goal of educating students on how to safely operate, sail, and competitively race sailboats over 20 feet. For this purpose, the club owned and operated an Evelyn 32-2 performance racing boat, competing in local races and conducting free lessons for students and faculty. Additionally, the Offshore Sailing Team was a member of the Intercollegiate Sailing Association, competing in regattas across the United States in the northeast and midwest.
As of Spring 2025, the Offshore Sailing Team merged with the Sailing Club at ERAU, forming ERAU Sailing. Together we continue our mission, expanding it to include all aspects of sailing, both small vessel and offshore capable keelboats.
