The LEAD Team is a group of peer leadership mentors that provide students with presentations and activities to enhance their organizational effectiveness and leadership competencies as a part of the Emerging Leaders program. The LEAD Team also serves as a support for the Leadership Conference.

  • How will LEAD Team benefit me as a student at Embry-Riddle?

    Making connections throughout the university is critical for your success as a student. As a member of LEAD Team, you will have the opportunity to make and enhance connections with faculty, staff, and a variety of students from the Embry-Riddle community.

    You will be participating in a powerful leadership learning experience. If selected, your time on the team will ask you to develop and strengthen your understanding of leadership.

  • How will the LEAD Team experience benefit me after graduation?

    The LEAD Team experience will be intentionally designed to enhance your leadership skills and abilities. Members of the LEAD Team will develop skills in interpersonal communication, team building, leadership, and facilitating group discussions.

    The LEAD Team experience also provides you with the unique opportunity to mentor students through their learning of leadership competencies. Throughout the semester, you will have opportunities to use your skills in hands-on situations, thus providing experiences upon which future employers look favorable.
