The cutting-edge nonlinear waves lab will allow the Embry-Riddle community to lead big data collection in 3-D for tsunamis, rogue waves, water spouts, solitons and rip currents. The nonlinear waves lab, housed in the College of Arts & Sciences, has a 4,000-gallon wave tank with two computer-controlled paddle and prism wave makers, six pumps creating water currents in a closed circuit, wind generators and wave data acquisition systems.
