About Us

We are a student-run club that includes both a Pep Band and Jazz Band, which play for ERAU athletic events, school social events, as well as many other events around campus and the community. The Pep Band is all about music, our players on the court, and having a good time! We're taking all sorts of music and putting our own spin on it. We're in the stands cheering for the Eagles and making our home turf a tough place for the opposition. Meanwhile, the Jazz Band brings big band and combo jazz music to the community, playing classic jazz standards and modern jazz hits. We provide a fun setting for both beginning and veteran jazz players to improve their improvising, solo, and ensemble skills. The Jazz Band will be entertaining at various events around campus and the community, such as dinners, galas, and social events, looking for student music that isn't quite as "peppy" as the Pep Band traditionally supplies. In addition to playing at a few events each week, we also hold weekly Pep Band practices on Mondays and Thursdays from 6:45 pm to 8:00 pm. Drumline Practices will be held on the same days from 6:00 pm to 6:45 pm. And lastly, Jazz Band practices will be held on Sunday from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm; the times for which are yet to be set.
