Service

NSSA members participate in homeland security-related events and activities, such as Daytona Beach International Airport's triennial emergency management exercise, demonstrations by local emergency services, and trips to local public safety facilities.

Student members have unparalleled opportunities to interact with security studies professors. NSSA helps students connect to their professors outside of the classroom through informational sessions, events, and discussions.

NSSA members frequently support service and remembrance activities on campus, such as the 9/11 remembrance events and the True to the Blue 5K honoring Ashley Guindon (Class of 2010).
