The mission of IEEE-WIE is to facilitate the recruitment and retention of women in technical disciplines. We strive to create a vibrant community of women and men collectively using their diverse talents to address the gender issues inherent in an academic community largely dominated by members of a single gender, through providing technical and social support and mentoring to members of the organization and the campus community at large.
