PRESENTATION

Verdego Aero develops hybrid engines that will enable electric flight using electric motors combined with liquid fuel power plants. The fully integrated hybrid power-plants (including the engine, generator, power electronics, control systems, and thermal management), deliver a practical solution for a wide-range of missions. The Verdego technology can support unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and drones to be used for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) missions. This technology also applies to commercial and other civilian applications. It will provide better fuel efficiency, reliability, safety and less noise.

Seth McElhinney, PhD a Daytona IEEE section member and a researcher at Verdego, will be giving us the presentation.
