About Us

First-Year Initiative is a mentor program created by the Student Government Association in order to impact first-year students. Members are introduced to an SGA Official who will serve as their mentor throughout their first year at Embry-Riddle. This mentor will be their point of contact for matters SGA-related. They shall also help the members to find a place on campus, in which they feel at home. As a member of FYI, students are encouraged to participate on campus and in SGA committees. If you have any questions, please feel free to stop by the SGA office in the Student Center anytime Monday-Friday between 8am-5pm.
