About Us
The purposes of this organization are [Our mission at the Sikh Student Association (SSA) is to foster a supportive and inclusive community for fellow students at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, while also promoting awareness, understanding, and appreciation of Sikh culture, traditions, and values among the broader university community. We strive to create a welcoming environment where students can connect, learn, and grow spiritually, academically, and socially through service, education, and cultural exchange. Through our activities, events, and outreach efforts, we aim to uphold the principles of Sikhism, including equality, compassion, and selfless service, while empowering our members to be leaders and advocates for social justice and positive change both on campus and beyond. At the Embry-Riddle Sikh Student Association (ERSSA), we believe in the profound impact of volunteering and community service as expressions of our faith and values. Through various service initiatives, we aim to embody the Sikh principle of seva (selfless service) by actively engaging with local communities and addressing societal needs. From organizing food drives and homeless outreach programs to participating in environmental clean-up efforts, our members are dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. By volunteering together, we not only strengthen bonds within our association but also foster a sense of unity and compassion that transcends cultural and religious boundaries. Through our collective efforts, we strive to inspire positive change and leave a lasting legacy of goodwill and service in our university and surrounding communities.].
