Mission
The Eagles Flight Team is one of the nations most recognized flight competition programs. The EFT competes in a variety of aviation related events ranging from advanced cross-country flight planning to using the CR-3 manual flight computer to perform complex calculations. The team also has one of the most knowlegable aircraft recognition teams and has won the number one spot at national competition for aircraft REC between 2009 and 2016.

The Eagles Flight Team uses the Cessna 150 for precision landing, and message drop events, and the Cessna 172 Skyhawks are used for the Navigation event. We are proud to represent Embry-Riddle Daytona Beach and look forward to making 2017 - 2018 the year in which we place first at the national competition in Columbus, Ohio next May.

Apart from the incredible amount of knowledge that you'd learn here, being a flight team member means that you have the privilege to fly the Cessna 150 and 172 during practice for free. Also, due to our specific practice schedule, the university also allow all team members to have priority registration. This means that you get to register classes before everyone else does! Feel free to talk to us to learn more about the perks of being a Flight Team member.

First-Year Initiative is a mentor program created by the Student Government Association in order to impact first-year students. Members are introduced to an SGA Official who will serve as their mentor throughout their first year at Embry-Riddle. This mentor will be their point of contact for matters SGA-related. They shall also help the members to find a place on campus, in which they feel at home.

As a member of FYI, students are encouraged to participate on campus and in SGA committees.

If you have any questions, please feel free to stop by the SGA office in the Student Center anytime Monday-Friday between 8am-5pm.

The Fraternity and Sorority Life Standards Board serves as an honor committee which assesses actions of Fraternities and Sororities on campus, ensuring that the school's Greek Community continues to operate according to the Fraternal Insurance Policy Group's rules and regulations.  This board is the judiciary subset within Embry-Riddles Greek Life.  Each organization has one delegate who sits on the board until their graduation.  Advised by the Greek Advisor, this board is entirely student run and organized.

The Orientation Team consists of approximately 80 student leaders from all over the globe representing all different degree programs, interests, and backgrounds, that come together with the common goal of making new students feel very welcomed when the come to Embry-Riddle.

Our Team is a branch of Orientation under Student Engagement & Student Union, which is led by Karin Gollin, Executive Director of Student Engagement & Student Union and under the direct supervision by the Assistant Director for Orientation & Communications, Ronnie Mack.

The Orientation Team works year round orientating new and transfer students to the university. Orientation programs take place for new students in August (Fall Semester), January (Spring Semester), and in the summer before the Summer A and B terms. Recruitment for the "O-Team" takes place each fall after Fall Orientation.

Each Spring members of O-Team leadership represent ERAU the Southern Regional Orientation Workshop (SROW) which is a weekend-long event located in one of the South-Eastern States, where the O-Team connects with 1,000+ orientation leaders from around the country. At SROW the O-Team networks with other schools to gain ideas and knowledge about how to better our program, and how to make our Orientation more successful for the years to come! O - Team members also have the opportunity for training and development through Spring training which is a requirement of the position. 

Recruitment for the "O-Team" takes place each fall after Fall Orientation.

Mission
The Student Court is the judicial body of the Student Government Association. The Student Court presides over cases arising from university violations, parking and traffic issues, and student mediation. The Student Court is also responsible for interpreting the governing documents of the SGA. The Student Court consists of seven Associate Justices and is chaired by the Chief Justice.

Who Are We?
The Student Government Association is a diverse and critical organization on campus that focuses on you, the student. Everything the SGA does aims to fulfill its mission of improving student life on campus. Through a variety of smaller organizations, dedicated personnel, and strong leadership, the Student Government Association is proud to support the interests of Embry-Riddle students since 1960.

Because Embry-Riddle is a unique university, its SGA is equally as unique. To make the biggest impact on campus, the SGA is composed of smaller organizations that have specific goals and actions of meet the needs of students. The branches of the SGA ensure that students have the representation, protection, and voice that they deserve as students of the university. The divisions of the SGA provide students with campus news and entertainment with the help of three volunteer organizations.

The Student Senate (SS) is a legislative body that represents each college, graduate students, international students, veteran students, and residence life. The SS consists of 23 elected members and is chaired by the Vice President. Their purpose is to listen to student concerns and suggestions and create projects to enhance student life. The SS is also separated into separate committees that focus on specific projects.

Student Union Media Group is a team of student designers who work in individual and collaborative capacities as the professional design service for the Student Government Association. Students will create effective campaigns by way of print and digital content. Our students learn about branding while working within multiple identity systems, and will implement this knowledge while also learning about both internal and external advertising.

Students interested in developing their technical skills in the Adobe Creative Suite, will focus on the use and integration of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, while also honing their ability to conceptualize, translate, and present information.

The Avion is the college publication of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida. The magazine has a printed circulation of approximately 1,000, and has a history dating back to Embry-Riddle's early days in Miami, Florida. Although The Avion was previously known as the Flypaper, Jetstream and the Informer, the publication has not strayed far from its roots. Today, the Avion supports a rigorous online presence through its website, mobile application and social media platforms.

The publication is published biweekly during the Fall and Spring semesters, and normally consists of a campus section, industry and technology section, sports section, entertainment section.

Run by students for students, The Avion is staffed primarily by volunteers who find time in their busy schedules to keep the campus updated on local and industry happenings. These individuals have a passion for journalism, photography and design. The Avion takes pride in covering premier events, such as rocket launches, air shows, and events at the Daytona International Speedway. Additionally, the Avion has seized numerous opportunities to interview rock stars, politicians, pilots and astronauts.

During the Fall and Spring semesters, meetings are held on Tuesdays at 7 p.m., in SU 210 on the second floor of the Mori Hosseini Student Union.

The Avion lays out the weekly design on Sundays at 1 p.m., in our office Student Union Room 219.

Touch-N-Go Productions (TNG) is the student-run programming board of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and serves as the entertainment division of the Student Government Association. Touch-N-Go strives towards bringing many different forms of entertainment to campus; we have various programs including comedy shows, coffee house artists, hypnotists, bi-weekly movies and so much more!

Several previous artists that Touch-N-Go Productions have brought to Embry-Riddle include: KYLE, Cheat Codes, Desiigner, Chase Bryant, Social House, Echosmith, Fitz and the Tantrums, Plain White T's, Lauv, AJR, Gabriel Iglesias, Gym Class Heroes, All American Rejects, Bowling For Soup, and many more!

Touch-N-Go Productions is always looking for new and interested members to get involved in student programming! The nature of our organization provides its members the unique experience of working throughout full production events but not without its rewards.

Our meetings are every Thursday at 7:00pm in Student Union Chamber. We encourage everyone to attend.  No experience is necessary. If interested in joining us, please fill out the member interest form linked above.

Touch-N-Go Productions also offers unique services to the many different registered clubs and organizations on campus. Almost all of our professional production equipment may be rented by clubs and organizations. TNG may also co-sponsor an event by providing funding, equipment, and/or support.
