Mission
First-Year Initiative is a mentor program created by the Student Government Association in order to impact first-year students. Members are introduced to an SGA Official who will serve as their mentor throughout their first year at Embry-Riddle. This mentor will be their point of contact for matters SGA-related. They shall also help the members to find a place on campus, in which they feel at home.

As a member of FYI, students are encouraged to participate on campus and in SGA committees.

If you have any questions, please feel free to stop by the SGA office in the Student Center anytime Monday-Friday between 8am-5pm.

The mission of the Graduate Student Council is to represent, advocate, and communicate for the Graduate population across all programs on the Daytona Beach Campus. A student-run body that will communicate opportunities as well as provide a forum for issue discussion that can then be acted upon. The Council will also serve as a body that the administration may contact when it would like to disseminate information to the Graduate population.

The Korean Student Association (KSA) at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University exists to create a welcoming community for Korean students and anyone interested in Korean culture. Our mission is to:

Support new and current Korean students in adjusting to academic life, flight training, and campus culture.

Provide mentorship, guidance, and resources to help members succeed academically and personally.

Promote Korean culture through events, activities, and collaborations with the broader ERAU community.

Build strong connections among students by fostering friendship, leadership, and cultural exchange.

Through these efforts, KSA strives to be a supportive family on campus and a bridge between Korean culture and the wider university community.

Mission
The Student Court is the judicial body of the Student Government Association. The Student Court presides over cases arising from university violations, parking and traffic issues, and student mediation. The Student Court is also responsible for interpreting the governing documents of the SGA. The Student Court consists of seven Associate Justices and is chaired by the Chief Justice.

As an organization lead by students for students, the Student Government Association is here to assist students by offering not only services that improve student life but also giving students a voice when they want to make a difference.

Who Are We?
The Student Government Association is a diverse and critical organization on campus that focuses on YOU, the student. Everything the SGA does aims to fulfill its mission of improving student life on campus. Through a variety of smaller organizations, dedicated personnel, and strong leadership, the Student Government Association is proud to support the interests of Embry-Riddle students since 1960.

Because Embry-Riddle is a unique university, its SGA is equally as unique. To make the biggest impact on campus, the SGA is composed of smaller organizations that have specific goals and actions of meet the needs of students. The branches of the SGA ensure that students have the representation, protection, and voice that they deserve as students of the university. The divisions of the SGA provide students with campus news and entertainment with the help of three volunteer organizations.

The Student Senate (SS) is a legislative body that represents each college, graduate students, international students, veteran students, and residence life. The SS consists of 23 elected members and is chaired by the Vice President. Their purpose is to listen to student concerns and suggestions and create projects to enhance student life. The SS is also separated into separate committees that focus on specific projects.

The Student Treasury (ST) is responsible for the appropriate management and distribution of revenue generated by the SGA Fee.

The ST consists of six elected members and is chaired by the SGA Treasurer.

Mission
Student Union Media Group is a team of student designers who work in individual and collaborative capacities as the professional design service for the Student Government Association. Students will create effective campaigns by way of print and digital content. Our students learn about branding while working within multiple identity systems, and will implement this knowledge while also learning about both internal and external advertising.

Students interested in developing their technical skills in the Adobe Creative Suite, will focus on the use and integration of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, while also honing their ability to conceptualize, translate, and present information.

Mission
The Avion is the college publication of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida. The magazine has a printed circulation, online journalism, and more with history dating back to Embry-Riddle's early days in Miami, Florida. Although The Avion was previously known as the Flypaper, Jetstream and the Informer, the publication has not strayed far from its roots.

Meetings are held on Tuesdays at 7 p.m., in SU 210 on the second floor of the Mori Hosseini Student Union.

Run by students for students, The Avion is staffed primarily by volunteers who find time in their busy schedules to keep the campus updated on local and industry happenings. These individuals have a passion for journalism, photography and design. The Avion takes pride in covering premier events, such as rocket launches, air shows, and events at the Daytona International Speedway. Additionally, the Avion has seized numerous opportunities to interview rock stars, politicians, pilots and astronauts.

Touch-N-Go Productions (TNG) is the student-run programming board of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and serves as the entertainment division of the Student Government Association. Touch-N-Go strives towards bringing many different forms of entertainment to campus; we have various programs including comedy shows, coffee house artists, hypnotists, bi-weekly movies and so much more!

Several previous artists that Touch-N-Go Productions have brought to Embry-Riddle include: KYLE, Cheat Codes, Desiigner, Chase Bryant, Social House, Echosmith, Fitz and the Tantrums, Plain White T's, Lauv, AJR, Gabriel Iglesias, Gym Class Heroes, All American Rejects, Bowling For Soup, and many more!

Touch-N-Go Productions is always looking for new and interested members to get involved in student programming! The nature of our organization provides its members the unique experience of working throughout full production events but not without its rewards.

Our meetings are every Thursday at 7:00pm in Student Union Chamber. We encourage everyone to attend.  No experience is necessary. If interested in joining us, please fill out the member interest form linked above.

Touch-N-Go Productions also offers unique services to the many different registered clubs and organizations on campus. Almost all of our professional production equipment may be rented by clubs and organizations. TNG may also co-sponsor an event by providing funding, equipment, and/or support.
