Barefoot Flying Club is designed to facilitate types of flying that aren't readily available at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University or its surrounding flight schools such as seaplane, aerobatic, and tailwheel flying.

Barefoot Flying Club also is a club for those interested in aircraft maintenance and kit plane construction.

Barefoot Flying Club will┬áseek an environment that allows the Aviation Maintenance Science students and those interested in this field with some hands-on experience also not offered at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University or┬áits surrounding flight schools.
