Mission
The Office of Prestigious Awards and Fellowships promotes academic and civic engagement by developing and supporting a campus culture which empowers students to prepare and apply for external fellowships. These awards provide students with enriching and life-changing opportunities. In the process of applying, students will be asked to identify, explain, and express their experiences and goals and connect their ambitions to fellowship opportunities. We work with students and alumni of all majors and backgrounds interested in applying for awards to study abroad, learn a language, pursue graduate study, and more. Though the process may seem daunting, the office helps throughout the process as students craft personal essays, obtain letters of recommendation, and prepare for the interview.
