We did it! The Executive Board has been hard at work to prepare for the upcoming semester, and we have a lot of new updates and announcements for you, including the date and time we will be hosting our very first general body meeting!


Annoucements

  • Activities Fair
    • FSA will have a booth at this semester's Activities Fair. Come by, say hello, and ask us any questions you may have about the organization. 
  • The ERAU Annual Activities Fair will be on January 25th, 2024
    • Time: 9 am-2 pm
    • Location: Legacy Walk (Between Henderson and the Student Union) 
  • FSA Interest Meeting 
    •  The First General Body Meeting / FSA Interest Meeting will be on February 1st, 2024 
      • During this meeting, we will discuss our proposed plans for FSA this semester, the purpose of FSA, and answer any questions you may have. 
      • Time: 7 pm
      • Location: IC 104

    • If you plan on attending, please register using the link below so we can have a general headcount.

  • By-weekly Executive and General Meetings 
    • Executive and General Meetings will be held in a bi-weekly rotation. A calendar will be attached showing the schedule. 
    • These meetings will be held at the same time and location (TBA) throughout the semester. 
    • Executive Board Meetings
      • Executive Board meetings are open to all members to attend but is not mandatory. 
      • Time: Sundays at 4 pm
      • Location: SU 208
    • General Meetings
      • General meetings will be where we will conduct most of our FSA business and host minor events (Examples: Karaoke Night, Game Nights, Language Lessons, etc.)
      • We will also conduct organization votes during these meetings, and all active members will be eligible to participate (we will discuss this more during our interest meeting). 
      • Time: Thursdays at 7 pm
      • Location: IC 104



FSA Updates


On January 14th the Executive Board held an emergency meeting where we voted and passed amendments regarding the first half of the bylaws (Article I - Article VI) and voted to approve the first half of the bylaws. These amendments included fixing grammatical errors found in bylaws, closing any loopholes and areas of concern, and creating two (2) new permanent Executive Board positions. The new Executive Board positions include having a Secretary and Auditor, which are appointed by the President. Attached will be a copy of the first half of the bylaws (Article I - Article VI) highlighting all the changes, corrections, and additions made to the bylaws. During the Emergency Meeting, the Board also voted on a date and time to hold all executive and general meetings using the information recieved from the "Member Availability Survey" sent out earlier this month.
