Mabuhay
Since our last meeting earlier this much, not too much has happened with FSA, but we have much planned for the rest of the semester.
FSA Announcements
Karaoke Night and GBM 2:
- Our next GBM (General Body Meeting) will be held in the New Res 1 Multipurpose room. We will have signs directing you to where to go.
- Date: March 7th, 2024
- Time: 7pm
- The meeting will begin with general club business and end with Karaoke.
- We plan on having food provided, but it may or may not be filipino food, based on budget and cooking location.
- If you plan on attending, please RSVP using our campus groups link below. It is important to rsvp for this event to help us gain more funding from the SGA, but also allows us to have an accurate headcount of people, for seating, and food.

- Snow Cone Fundraiser
- 2nd Fundraiser (if you have any fundraising ideas let anybody in the events committee know)
Eagle palooza
- We are still wating on word from Touch-N-Go, but we may have a table to fundraise at for Eagle Palooza. If we do, we hope to sell Lumpia, Pancit, and BBQ on a stick.
- Date: March 23
- Volunteers: If this goes through, we will need a lot of volunteers. If you are interested, a sign-up form will be posted once everything is confirmed.
FSA Updates
Advisor:
I first would like to announce that our advisor, Ms. Michiko Gosney, has left Embry-Riddle and is no longer our Faculty Advisor. We have kept in contact with Ms. Gosney and have her full support as we go on as an organization. We hope to continue to work with her in the future. Before her departure, Ms. Gosney was gracious enough to find us a new Faculty Advisor. Our new advisor is Mr. Kenneth Hunt, the Director of Diversity and Inclusion here at ERAU. The Executive Board plans to meet Mr. Hunt in the coming days to introduce him to the organization and notify him of what we have coming for the semester.
Partnerships:
The FSA partnership with Zeny's at the Daytona International Speedway was successful. We had over 25 volunteers throughout the 5-day event, and both the members and Ms. Zeny have notified me that they would like to continue this partnership. Keep an eye out for future events, and remember that spots will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis from when the signup forms are posted. We hope to find more partnerships in the area and that more members participate in these events.
Committees:
Thank you to all those who applied to be a part of the committees. Committees for now will be ran by their respective executive board officer, and all committees will be overseen by Bree (Vice President).
Committee Selections:
Events Committee run by Ava (Events Officer):
- Rochelle Castro
- Madison Fletcher
Public Relations Committee run by Brielle Heron (PR Officer):
- Prisa Lofranco
- Zack De Leon
If you are interested in being a part of a committee in the future, let someone on the executive board know, and you may be given a spot.
Thank You,

Austin Quiaem
President
